specializes in trade associations and housing finance in emerging markets;
a Director of the Comino Group and St. Paul Travelers Insurance Company;
Chairman of Hillingdon Community Trust; member of the Gibraltar Financial
services Commission, the National Consumer Council and the Court of Common
Council of the City of London.
Don Flynn
Policy
& Projects Worker at the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants.
He has worked in the field of immigration law and policy for over 20 years
and has researched and written on various aspects of immigration law. He
co-authored the 2002 TUC publication, Migrant Workers - a TUC guide and
runs training courses for lawyers and advisors on several aspects of immigration
law.
Professor Nigel Harris
Economist
specialising in the economic and industrial base of metropolitan areas.
Former Research Fellow, Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta; Professor
Emeritus of the Economics of the City (University College London); former
Director, Development Planning Unit (University College London). Consultant
to United Nations (including UN, UNDP, UNICEF), World Bank and governments
including UK (ODA, DFID), India, Mexico. Author of numerous works.
Dr.Satvinder Juss
Member,
Bar Human Rights Committee; Race Relations Committee; Fellow, International
Academy of Freedom of Religion & Belief; Reader in Law at Kings College
London; sometime Human Rights Fellow at Harvard University.
Dr.Martin Ruhs

Labour Market Economist at the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS)
at the University of Oxford. He has been a consultant for the International
Labour Organisation (ILO), the International Organisation for Migration
(IOM) and the Global Commission on International Migration (GCIM).
Professor Shamit Saggar
Professor
of Political Science at the University of Sussex; inaugural Chairman of
the Law Society Consumer Complaints Board; author of Race and Representation
(2000); former Senior Policy Advisor in the Strategy Unit, Cabinet Office.He
has held several academic appointments and fellowships around the world,
and has also been commissioned to provide policy analysis and advice to
a wide range of bodies and has had several public, charitable and NGO appointments.
